Privacy Policy
Loudlist Pro (“Loudlist”, “we”) is a web app at loudlistpro.com that helps playlist curators promote their playlists with ads and take paid song submissions from artists. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to get it deleted.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, a display name, and a password hash. We never store the password itself.
- Your playlists: names, genres, track titles and artists, follower counts, and the public links you import from. Song previews and durations come from Apple’s public iTunes catalog.
- Campaigns: the ad copy, budgets, schedules and any video you upload, plus the spend, impressions and clicks the ad platforms report back.
- Connected accounts: when you connect Instagram/Facebook, TikTok or Spotify, we store the access token they issue, encrypted (AES-256-GCM), together with the ad account, Page or profile you chose. We only request the permissions each feature needs (for Meta: ads_management, ads_read, business_management, pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement).
- Submissions: when an artist submits a song, their name, email, the song link and their message, and the outcome of the review.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer, subscription and connected-account identifiers, never card numbers or bank details.
- Smart-link taps: when someone opens a playlist link we record the tap, the service they chose and, if the tap came from an ad, which campaign — no names, no accounts.
How we use it
- To run the app: show your playlists, launch and report on your campaigns, route submissions.
- To create and manage ads in your own ad account on your instruction. The ad platform bills you directly; Loudlist invoices only its platform fee.
- To email you about submissions, decisions and billing (via Resend).
- To generate ad copy or playlist suggestions when you ask for them, by sending the playlist details and your draft to Anthropic’s Claude. Nothing about your account is sent otherwise.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising of our own.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to provide the feature you use: Meta and TikTok (ads), Spotify (playlist import), Stripe (payments and payouts), Resend (email), Anthropic (AI copywriting), Apple iTunes Search (song previews), and Vercel and Neon (hosting, storage and database). Each receives only what that feature requires.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. Disconnecting a platform deletes its stored token immediately. You can delete playlists, campaigns and uploaded videos from the app at any time. To delete your whole account and everything in it, follow the data deletion instructions; we complete requests within 30 days. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Security
Third-party tokens are encrypted at rest, connections use TLS, and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we will tell you.
